Support Group for Children – Age 8 to 11

Stacey’s Trust helps children just like you, who have lost someone special in their lives. We provide a safe, supported and friendly environment for you to come and meet other children who understand how you are feeling. Lots of children that we meet feel that they are the only ones who are feeling sad, angry or alone.

We do lots of different activities, which vary each week. These include playing games, craftwork, and colouring. We talk about things that might be worrying you such as how you are feeling, how you can remember your special person and what you can do that will help you feel better, but we also make sure we have a bit of fun every week too.

A typical session may run as followed:

  • Arrival – welcome introductions / drinks and biscuits
  • Organised activities, which could include games, craftwork, colouring, drawing, face painting and puppets. These activities are based on different themes such as feelings or memories.
  • We always finish with a fun game/activity.
