When you have lost someone special in your life, it can be really hard to make sense of what has happened. Your family and close friends may be feeling upset too, so it can be hard to talk to others and you may feel worried about upsetting them. When you have lots of different feelings, it may be confusing and hard to know how to cope.
Stacey’s Trust provides a safe, supportive and friendly environment for young people just like you. You can meet others, who are in the same situation as yourself, you can give and receive support from others in the group.
The support programme is tailored around the needs of the group in an informal and friendly atmosphere. We use a selection of creative activities, have time and safe space to talk and even have a bit of fun. The sessions are there for you to talk if you want to but mainly it is a chance to meet others who will better understand what you are going through. We hope that it helps you to think about: how you feel; how you remember your special person; and what you can do that will help you to cope.
Stacey’s Trust is a place for young people to come and relax and be themselves.
